The Online Learning Experience
The Christian Healing Certification Program is a ministry training program that is done completely online, right from the comfort of your home. CHCP can be done anywhere in the world where there is a strong internet connection with a minimum of 1.5mbps or 1500Kbps. This gives you the freedom to work on your course anywhere at any time.
Global Awakening uses a learning center website program called Moodle. Moodle is used throughout the world by many schools and universities for online courses. It’s simple and easy to use for all ages.
Once you register for a class, you will receive the link to our online learning center website the week before your course begins. Your course syllabus, videos and additional reading resources are all conveniently located in the learning center (Required books are sold separately). You can logon to the website 24 hours a day/7 days a week to access your course resources. You can work on your course at any time on your schedule.
You will receive a username and password to access the learning center. Once logged in, you will click on your course name in the left hand navigation bar. Once you click on your course, you will see your online syllabus broken out into 8 weekly units. Just click on the week’s unit that you are working on to watch the course videos and post the answers to your homework questions.
You will be able to email and message your instructor and fellow students very easily through the program. Also you can easily update your profile and upload a picture of yourself. It’s as easy as 1-2-3! Your instructor is always available to help you with any questions you might have about getting started in the learning center or posting your homework.
In order to succeed in an online learning program, you will need certain computer skills. You must be familiar with:
- Sending and receiving emails
- Opening or sending an email attachment
- Searching the Internet
- Using Microsoft Word
- Downloading files or streaming video
